2013
As a result of the takeover of the Forkardt Group by a machine tool manufacturer in 2013, a conflict of interest arose for Forkardt Schweiz GmbH. Within the management buyout (MBO) framework, the conflict was resolved in the customers' interest.

In 1992, Forkardt Switzerland developed the first standard precision chuck for cylindrical grinding machines, which over the years, established itself as the most successful and popular chuck for "grinders."

In 1967, Forkardt Schweiz GmbH was founded as a trading company of Forkardt Germany. Subsequently, Forkardt Schweiz GmbH focused on high-precision chucks for machine tool manufacturers.

In 1923, Paul Forkardt laid the foundation for a group of companies that now operates worldwide. In addition to the three FORKARDT companies in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, and France), this group operates a company in the USA, China, and India. It also has a partner company in Japan.
