Tool chucks TGC for the automated production
"Are you still setting up or already grinding?"
Increase your productivity and lower your cost!
In modern manufacturing, batch sizes are becoming smaller and smaller, and machining processes are more complex. At the same time, however, the demand for fully automated production is increasing, which makes it possible to reduce personnel costs and increase productivity. To exploit the full potential of modern production machines, a flexible clamping device with variable clamping diameter is a prerequisite

Increase your productivity and reduce costs!
In high-volume production, different production batch sizes, including different clamping diameters, should be ground without manual change-over of the collets. With the TGC multi-range chuck, we have met all these requirements. Whether for production or resharpening solid body tools (milling cutters, drills, taps, or reamers), we guarantee the highest concentricity over the entire clamping range with the premium TGC chuck. In addition, we can flexibly adapt the clamping device to the machine-specific interfaces and adjust the variable clamping range to the customer's specifications. In short - we create the optimum version for you so that you can truly increase your productivity while, at the same time, reducing costs.
Patented multi-range chuck TGC of the highest precision – are you still setting up or already grinding?
With the patented TGC® tool chuck, you can reduce your setup times to a minimum. There is no need to change collets for each clamping diameter and adjust individual clamping ranges. This design feature allows you to automate your production and benefit from maximum precision over the entire clamping range. The field of application ranges from tool grinding machines and cylindrical grinding machines to lathes, from cylindrical grinding to turning to hard-turning operations. SwissChuck supplies complete solutions - machine-side interfaces are available. We already have interfaces for Rollomatic, Studer, Junker, Schütte, and Benzinger. On customer request, interfaces for other common machine spindles can be supplied.
TGC Micro 3-12 mm
OD clamping of an end mill:
- Grinding of end mills of varying diameters from 3 to 12 mm
- Axially stationary clamping jaws over the whole clamping range
- No manual change-over of clamping jaws is necessary
TGC Special Clamping Areas 2 - 52 mm
Hydraulically actuated special chuck:
For the grinding of solid tungsten carbide drills
- Multiple change-over of chuck per day. Hence, this requires a special precision zero-point interface
- Chuck change-over in less than five minutes
- No clocking of the chuck required
- Three chucks cover the complete clamping range of ø2 to ø52 mm
