Compensating Chuck
In the machining of shaft-like parts between centers, compensating clamping is required. In this process, the effective clamping force of the chuck is only generated once all jaws are in contact with the workpiece. The highly sensitive compensation effortlessly offsets workpiece-induced runout errors at the clamping point without pushing the workpiece out of its center axis. SwissChuck's compensating chucks are designed for high clamping forces, allowing for the grinding of complex workpieces between centers, even if they are non-circular in shape.
